3. Who sets cookies

  • First party cookies are set by Bright Green Partners B.V.
  • Third party cookies are set by providers such as analytics or embedded content services.

  • Strictly necessary cookies: we don’t need your consent for these because they’re required to run the site securely (Article 11.7a of the Dutch Telecommunications Act, and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Analytics and marketing cookies: we only load these with your consent, given through the cookie banner. You can withdraw it anytime.

Google Analytics is provided by Google LLC. International transfers may occur unless an EEA-only configuration is enabled. If transfers occur, they rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and, where required, Standard Contractual Clauses.

7. How we use Google Analytics

We only load Google Analytics after you consent in the banner. If you decline, it doesn’t run, and you can change your choice at any time. EU regulators previously challenged Google Analytics over how it transferred data to the US. Google is now certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which provides a valid legal basis for that transfer – though we’re still responsible for using the tool correctly, such as only activating it after consent.

We will update this policy when our cookie use changes. The latest version will always be available on our site.
